PSY 390 Research Opportunity Spring 2012Faculty member or graduate student Dr. Ximena Arriaga (faculty member), Kaleigh Sands & Maayan Dvir (graduate students) Description of research area Our research examines processes within romantic relationships and associated perceptions. Some of the topics we study include commitment, conflicts, how and why people stay in (or leave) various relationships, and how people think about their own or others’ relationships. Description of undergraduate participation Research assistants will do readings on the research area described above, collect data, and perform various other research-related tasks. Research setting Purdue campus, and possibly community areas.
