Our laboratory investigates basic memory processes, often from an evolutionary perspective. Our research is currently testing whether our memory systems are “tuned” to solve adaptive problems from our ancestral past (e.g., survival, mating, etc.). We are also interested in the evolutionary basis of belief in the supernatural.
