Psychology Club

The Psychology Club is open to PSY majors and potential majors. One of its main purposes is to provide useful information to students about opportunities in the Psychology Department, such as special talks, peer tutoring and chances to become involved in research.  The Club also sponsors presentations and peer counseling about careers in the field of Psychology.

Psi Chi

Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology.  Its purpose is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship and to advance the science of psychology.  In addition to offering many fulfilling activities and opportunities, membership in Psi Chi can be helpful with future employment.  For example, membership satisfies one entrance requirement into Federal service at the GS-7 level.
Psychology majors who have 3.3 overall GPA and 3.5 GPA in PSY and are at least second-semester sophomores are eligible to become members.  More information about the local and national chapters can be found at the following sites:
