Undergraduate Program Overview |
|
Are you curious about why people behave as they do? Would you like to learn about the many relations between brain and behavior? Are you interested in finding out how human behavior reflects many of the same processes that influence the behavior of other animals? Would you enjoy learning how people with problems such as anxiety and depression can be helped? Would you like to become involved in research on any of these topics?
If your answer to any of these questions is “yes”, you should consider Psychological Sciences as a field of study at Purdue. After all, Psychology is the scientific discipline dealing with all aspects of mind, brain, and behavior. Developing an effective technology requires a full understanding of “what makes us tick.” The goals of the vibrant and exciting field of Psychological Sciences are to achieve that understanding and to develop those technologies."
